The TcpWindowSize parameter can be used to set the receive window on a per-interface basis. This parameter can be used to set a global limit for the TCP window size on a system-wide basis.

Open your registry and find the key below.

Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value, called 'GlobalMaxTcpWindoSize' and edit the value according to the settings below.

Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.

Note: This value is not a spelling mistake, Windows 98 contains a TCP stack bug which looks for the wrong value name (see KB article Q239731) instead of "GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize".
